Developer Jerry Champlin gave me a tour on June 30, 2025, and proudly shared that this 16-unit project is the largest container-based community in the state.
Designed with affordability, sustainability, and community in mind, Basecamp blends smart design with eco-conscious living. Each unit maximizes space through thoughtful touches like sliding pocket doors, custom shelving, and even combo toilet-shower units. The development also includes four office spaces cleverly built into a single 40’ container at the entrance.
Jerry collaborated closely with the local planning commission to bring this innovative concept to life. Artistic tilework, creative cantilevers, and communal spaces all contribute to Basecamp’s unique charm and livability.
With every unit now rented out, this beautifully executed project is not only a success—it’s just the beginning. Jerry’s already thinking ahead to what’s next.
